SEE NEUROLOGIST: There are several possible causes, and these include arteritis/vasculitis, multiple sclerosis, lyme disease, sjogren's, etc.  Spinal fluid analysis may be necessary.  Get diagnosed asap, and start treatment without delay.  Changing your diet will not help this, you need medical care.  We have loads of therapies to reverse and/or control all of this.

MRI finding : The picture of your brain has shown a small abnormality on the brainstem. Discuss this with the ordering doctor,who,will,correlate,this with  your symptoms to determine if,this finding is significant.

Accepted Answer

No: Myelomalacia is a term that is used to refer to the spinal cord itself. It refers to some degeneration of the spinal cord.  What you are describing is in the bone of the vertebral body. This is a different condition. It may represent fatty marrow-usually a benign variant.

Various causes: T2 flair is a highly sensitive but not very specific imaging protocol in mri. Without an idea of what you are looking for, the differential becomes very broad. Assuming you are a healthy 19 year old, you could see these findings with migraine, hypertension, a recent viral illness, lymes" disease, CNS infammation, etc. You should see the physician who requested the study and discuss the results.

Unclear : it sounds like you are reading a CT scan or MRI report. A pelvic sonogram is a better way to evaluate an ovarian cyst this small

Not sure: Not sure what type of MRI was performed.  If you are evaluating for pelvic pathology...pelvic ultrasound is more accurate

Hemorrhagic cyst: This sounds like a hemorrhagic cyst. It needs to be followed up in 2-3 months (usu. By pelvic ultrasound) to make sure it goes away. These cysts are nothing to worry about. They may cause pain on the side that they are on and should go away without any treatment. It is important however to make sure that's what it is and that a follow-up ultrasound is done to make sure it goes away.

: T-1 "black holes" do represent prior brain damage, but are not indicative of a necessarily progressive destruction.  They are however, left overs from prior localized inflammation.  Discuss your particulars with your doctor.

Incidental finding: This is an incidental finding that would be unrelated to reason for the test. It is a benign and common finding in bone that does not progress to anything. Just a "it's there"'comment by the radiologist.
