Diverticulitis: I would think the headache is associated with your diverticulitis and stress associated with your being away from home. I would suggest that you take the medication prescribed by your doctor and take Advil (ibuprofen) or Tylinol for your headache.If that does. Not help I would see a physician

Too complex, see MD: This is too complex an issue to be safely answered with the information available. Erythromycin is an unusual drug for UTI. Follow up with the doctor or clinic treating you.

Need diagnosis....: Your cough needs to be diagnosed before it can be effectively treated. Suppressing a cough is not always the best treatment. Possible etiologies for your cough include acute bronchitis due to infection, bronchospasm from any cause, gerd, post-nasal drip or a combination of factors. All of these have entirely different treatments so see your doctor for diagnosis and treatment of your cough!

Yes: One is an antibiotic, the other a cough suppressant.

Dextromethorphan: Look for something with dextromethorphan in it... that will work better than guiafenesin. My personal favorite is Mucinex (guaifenesin) DM. (Actually any product with a DM behind it should have dextromethorphan).  Cough is usually worse at night because of the body's biorhythms. It is worth looking into 'why' you have such a bad cough -if this doesn't work. (Sometimes if you have reactive airways it's worsened)

dc. prescribed my 15 and 9 mnth old 1tsp of isozide (isoniazid syrup isp) for 3 months since someone in family was diagnosed with tb. any sideeffects?

Isoniazid: Make sure your son is getting vitamin b6 because the drug depletes the vitamin and can cause peripheral neuropathy and occasionally seizures.

insomnia occurs only 2-3 times in a year. prescribed risnia syrup 1ml daily for few days. but dosage continuing when problem re-occurs. is it harmful?

Couple of things: 2-3 times/ year of insomnia is not very bad. Many people have much more frequent problems. No caffeine late in day , Read up on tips for falling asleep.
Don't know Risnia syrup.  Physical check up always good idea. There are various sleep meds  available for occas insomnia, Discuss with doctor. If underlying psych issues always good idea to have psych evaluation.
