You should urinate minimum of once every 12 hours - less often my indicate dehydration.  Lips and mouth dryness, no tears for kids.  More severe dehydration skin feels different, soft spot on baby may look sunk in, heart rate may be increased.Pay attention to thirst -it also tells you to get more fluid!
