: It is highly unlikely. This can occur occasionally  in an exaggerated lithotomy for a prolonged period of time under anesthesia. Best is to ask your surgeon about the details and cause

Can be very helpful: Both massage and passive and active stretching can be very helpful for tight hip . Flexors. While a home program for stretching can work fine massage needs to be done by a provider trained in neuromuscular massage in order to get the most benefit. Stretches should be demonstrated at least once to make sure they are done properly.  Find a facility that provides physical therapy and massage.

Stretch/ICE: Recommend course of stretching, icing and anti-inflammories for 1-2 weeks.  If not better, you may consider evaluation for other treatment options.  Consider further imaging studies like x-ray or mri.

20-08-02: You can try sitting for 20 minutes out of half an hour of work,standing for 8 minutes and walking around for 2 minutes.This is only a guideline and depends how much walking and standing you do at home while cooking and other activities you do.If that is the case you may adjust your standing and walking around less often,at least every hour

Sounds like: A pinched nerve, either ilioinguinal or genitofemoral nerve.  Either nerve could be pinched at a hernia or in the retroperitoneum.  Show it to a doctor to make sure it is nothing serious.

L4-5: disc symptoms can vary. Tightness in the hips can indeed occur as a symptom.

It is likely that: the pain you are experiencing is from nerve compression in your back or hip. Unless you have additional reasons like trauma or infection or prolonged immobility it is unlikely you have a DVT. Regardless, if you are having this much concern you should see your health care provider for evaluation.
