Personal triggers: Asthma is made worse by different things that are unique to each person.  Common ones include pollens, mold, dust mites, foods, tobacco and smoke, exercise and stress. Each person needs to learn what aggrevates their symptoms.

Possible: post nasal drip. Have you been diagnosed with asthma?  If you have been  &amp; you have a daily attack - then your asthma is not well controlled. At this point I would seek medical attention to get this under tighter control. Take care.

Yes: At 27 weeks with asthma, your condition is considered high risk,  since the medications involved can affect the control of early labor. Please check in at the least with your OB if not a maternal fetal medicine specialist doctor, especially if your asthma is difficult to control or frequent

Peak flow: of 76% is good , so long you have no symptoms like shortness of breath or cough,  CS gas or any irritant can stimulate an asthma attack, just try to avoid exposure, take your controller and rescue medicines as prescribed

Call or go to ER: Don't ignore asthma, can be a deadly mistake.  Call a doctor that has treated you in the past in order to get medication to bridge to the appointment.  This may be possible depending on circumstances.  Otherwise, go to urgent care or to the ED.  Using expired medication may be life saving in certain circumstances, but no substitute for an evaluation by a physician and up to date planning.
