Not herpes: First, getnial herpes is infrequent after any one oral sex exposure. It&#x27;s especially unlikely if your partner didn&#x27;t have a visible oral herpes outbreak. Second, herpes doesn&#x27;t cause itching without sores. Third, location is wrong: any symptoms would be where most directly exposed, i.e. your penis, not scrotum. Third, 2 days is a bit early -- usually 3-10 days. But see doctor if remain concerned.

does herpes cause a constant slight burn in your back,groin and legs?  symptoms for last year since random sexual encounter. could it be in my head???

Not herpes: Herpes does not cause such symptoms. There are many non-professional websites where people claim symptoms like this are due to herpes; pay no attention to them. "Could it be in [your] head?" No distant forum expert can say; you're the best judge. But such symptoms often have a psychological origin; and whenever someone suspects his or her own symptoms are psychological, usually s/he is right.

have 3 blister/pimple right top pubic area. did an full std test, and awaiting results. is this herpes? the blister is white/gray at the head and the base is red. also, my entire pubic area is sore if i press down on it and swollen too. only symptom?

: Without exam and test hard to tell. Till you get results keed area clean and cover with OTC cortisone cream and band aid. Hope you get better

i was diagnosed with herpes 1 and 2. how worried should i be, right now i am worried out of my mind. is it possible for the blood test to be wrong ?

Herpes : It can be a shock to discover you have an infectious disease.  But, 75% of americans have herpes type one and 26% of americans have herpes type two.  

The thing to ask yourself is if these diseases are causing you any difficulties or pain or other problems.  You can ask for a confirmatory test to be done called a western blot test if you like.  Your sexual partner needs to be tested.

i have nieces and nephews i am worried about holding them or kissing them on the head etc what cautions should i do so i can't give them herpes ?

Cold sores: If you have active lesions or the tingling that warns you an outbreak is coming, be careful and do not kiss them. With the exception of young babies and immunocompromised children, kissing on the head should not create a problem.

Herpes Hurts: This is most likely not herpes if there are no pain or other nerve symptoms and no blistering. This must be something else.

i have gen. herpes & symp appeared 5 weeks ago. some have healed and went away. but the ones on the head of penis are still present. will they go away ?

Not without Rx: You need to see your doctor and 1) get tested for other stds as well and 2) start valacyclovir or Acyclovir tablets for the active infection to treat it.  Herpes is not curable and it may recur in the future but the medication will help your body fight it so it goes dormant again.
