See GYN: The most likely suspect is your right ovary. A cyst, for example can cause pain that radiates to your thigh.  See your gynecologist for an evaluation. If she finds no problems then you can ask your physician to look further

Any : Any abdominal pain is always concerning for patients, and rightfully so.  If a patient has new or persistent pain that lasts over several hours, they need to have medical evaluation.  If a patient has vomiting or fever they need immediate medical evaluation.  Typically, appendicitis starts in the upper abdomen, then the pain moves down to the right lower abdomen.  It is usually accompanied by nausea and vomiting, and sometimes by fever.  The patient often does not want to eat and has no appetite.  Pain in the right lower abdomen should always raise suspicion for appendicitis.  To evaluate for appendicitis, often a ct scan is performed.  Ct scans usually, though not always, show the appendix to show if it is enlarged or appears infected.

Pain : Pain in the right lower hand side of the abdomen could be appendicitis, but it could also be a kidney stone, kidney infection, bladder infection, or complications of pregnancy. You should definitely see a doctor to get urine tests to check for infection and/or pregnancy, as well get examined to determine whether you need the scan you mention in your question.

The pain usually worsens over time and moves to mcburney's point which is in the right lower quadrant of your abdomen. Usually the area is tender when touched or when pressure is released. The pain usually moves toward the right lower quadrant of abdomen. Bouncing or jolting will often make the pain worse. Appendicitis can  have varying presentations. If you have severe abdominal pain it is best to get  to  er.
