Antibiotic, I ; D: Your need to have the abscess drained and be placed on antibiotic.  You don't want the abscess to spread any further.  You brain is not too far away from your eye.  Go to your dentist right the way!

The sructures in: This area include the parotid gland and lymph nodes. Infection in the gland is a possibility especially if it increases in size when you eat. See an ent.

severely swollen tonsils. was referred to ent for possible abscess. ent refuted abscess dx. strep screen was negative. history of mono. what could it be?

Follow up with ENT: To obtain clarity, one would want to know are your symptoms new, what difficulty are the large tonsils causing you? If it is sleep/breathing while sleeping, snoring while sleeping, needing to sleep in a chair unable to lie flat. difficulty swallowing, food, liquids. If strep is ruled out, if can be viral and can resolve, if the symptoms are new. If chronic symptoms now worse surgery is considered.

Infection: The tonsils can get chronic infection quieting down with antibiotic use and then flaring up again.  Adenoids are also usually infected and thus the name t&a for the surgery usually performed after thorough exam by ENT specialist.

i had a tooth abscess that caused the lymph nodes along my jaw to swell on one side. if someone accidentally hit that lymph node, would it swell more? i was accidentally hit right in my jaw by my younger brother and now have lots of swelling and pain

would a dental abscess cause most of the back teeth on the left side of my mouth to hurt? i have a white pimple above a tooth and the pain jus started

Yes, see a dentist!: Yes the nerves in our face and neck are all connected so one tooth can cause all the teeth and tissue on that side to hurt.  The white pimple is the infection trying to drain out.  You should see a dentist immediately to determine if the tooth can be saved with a root canal or if it will need to be extracted the sooner you see a dentist the better.

had caries in teeth nd a dental abscess. i got it extracted but the tissue nd gum under that teeth were swollen nd still swollen after 2 years. why?

Get a CBCT  Scan: It should not take more then a couple of month for the swelling to go down. If there is something else, an oral surgeon should be able to evaluate the swallen area, take xrays or even a CT scan and give you some answers. Good luck hope you will get better.

could this swelling around one molar be caused by an abscessed tooth? i have a molar on the left side of the mouth where the gum is incredibly swollen and tender around it. it hurts to eat, brush or do anything around that tooth, and i'm wondering if this

It : Seattle, 
it could be.  It could also be pericoronitis, a localized gum infection usually around the lose tissue of a partially erupted third molar.  Either way, see your dentist for treatment.  Infections can spread, and can (rarely) become life threatening.  It is nothing to mess with.
