See your doctor: Testicular lumps (or swelling) can be cancer or benign. You don't want to take a chance of misdiagnosing yourself. Testicular cancer can be extremely aggressive so don't delay. Go see your doctor for a thorough exam. S/he may order an ultrasound to determine if you have a mass inside the testicle, but hopefully it is something benign such as a cyst or varicocele (dilated blood vessels). Good luck!

: Swelling of the testicle can be the result of poor drainage of fluid in the body. I am not sure if you were given antibiotics to take at home. So, my question is can this be an infection that needs more antibiotics- infections can also cause testicle swelling. very good for you to have noticed.  This needs to be evaluated.  Most common I believe would be a scrotal hernia, with varicocele maybe next.  Testicular tumor would be very rare at this age.  Your pediatrician will probably be able to diagnose with physical exam.  In any case get this looked at in the next day or two to limit possible damage to the testicle.

Get it checked. : If you have unexplained enlargement of a testicle, see your gp for a history and physical exam. An ultrasound of the testicle should be performed to rule out a testicular tumor. A small blockage of the tubes that convey sperm can cause a lump to form in the epididymis, and is called an epididymal cyst. But the testicular swelling is a much more worrisome finding, and should be evaluated promptly.
