Swelling: Sounds like parotid gland problem. Could be a "stone' or mucus plug. Drink water, massage swelling, apply hot compresses, suck on lemon drops. May need to see ENT.

GI evaluation : Are your neck swellings lymph nodes. I think you should see your PCP who can then refer you to a gastroenterologist who could do endoscopy. Was your thyroid checked?
