is there such a thing as swollen lymph nodes on the heart?

Yes: We often see lymph nodes in the region of the heart on CT scans.  However, this is considered abnormal.  We would need to know all your history to help determine why you have them.

i am having chest pain, and my voice has been hoarse yes i was diagnosed with reflux 2 and half years ago and i didn't take care of it but i haven't been having heart burn just hoarse voice and chest pain and swollen lymph nodes what could it be?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!

Need a check up: 6 months of those symptoms require more examinations to rule out overactive thyroid, lymphoma or even emotional causes. Evaluation of lung and heart status is important as well.

Some thoughts: Without an actual examination, I cannot give specific medical advice on your particular health, and
overactive thyroid due to irritation (or even rarely Tumor) of the thyroid can certainly increase metabolism.
Would be easily checked with a regular doctor appointment, but overactive thyroid is quite harsh on the system and shouldn't be let go for days.

Many options: With the history of trauma, perhaps you need to have a dental exam.  Are the nodes present on both sides of your jaw?  Regardless, you need a careful exam to determine what is going on.  Good luck.

Need more info: You obviously have seen a doctor and had a CT scan. There are too many causes of enlarged abdominal lymph nodes to be of able to provide a meaningful opinion without more information. Please discuss it with your doctor who has more information about your health.

Depends: The treatment would depend upon the diagnosis. The best route of action is to speak with your physician. If the nodes are only slightly enlarged then monitoring may be the best option; if they are large and accessible then biopsy may be the way to go. In addition, any work-up will also depend upon how long the nodes have bee there. Hope that this helps.
