Yes.: This is probably the most common cause of enlarged lymph nodes in the neck. After a patient recovers from the uri, the lymph nodes should cease to enlarge, and then gradually shrink down to their normal size (this sometimes can take 4-6 weeks). If the lymph nodes do not follow this pattern, then you may need further evaluation.

YES: This is called reactive lymphadenopathy.  Figure a minimum of 7-10 days.

Dr. can check throat: Throat pain can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants. Usually, a person sees the doctor if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly (mainly to check for strep throat). Throat lozenges and Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin can help decrease throat pain.

Usually some: type of infection, in mouth, gums, salivary gland, mononcucleosis, tuberculosis, etc..  Less commonly, disorders of the lymphatic system, such as lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, sarcoidosis.  Even less commonly, metastatic cancer from thyroid, lung, breast, etc.  If it persists, you should get a medical evaluation.

Common : There are a variety of viruses other than mono that cause tonsillitis. Swollen neck nodes in the weeks after would be expected. This is rather normal in the overall scheme of daily living.

Nodes: Please see your doctor. He/she will ask you a few questions, examine you, and order lab tests.
Examining your lymph nodes is critical. 
Whether or not the doctor(s) will do anything to the nodules is not certain.

Lymphnodes: This can be common, as often the nodes may get blocked and stay enlarged for quite some time.  See your Dr. for an eval and eventually if they do not decrease with treatment advice form your dr. you may need testing and further eval of the nodes. good luck.

Unusual: This would be an unlikely side effect from a colonoscopy but anything is possible.  Discuss this with your endoscopist to see if further testing is warranted or not.
