Foot pain: running ?: Completing "two marathons a week apart" is generally not thought to be a healthy experience for your physical well being.  A bruise on the under surface of your left foot or as mentioned a tendon injury should be evaluated via imaging studies to determine therapy. Get a referral to an orthopedic physician for evaluation.

i fractured my 2nd metatarsal and had cast off 3 days ago. my foot seems very swollen and i can feel a lump where the break was, should i worry? how long can it be like this, very painful when walking

fell 3 wks ago. shin still hurts bad and swollen. feel 2 lumps. side of foot hurts to walk on it. told i sprained it, no xray. is this normal?

No, not normal at --: all. If symptoms are improving then I would not worry, if not, then I would have it seen to by an Orthopod with Xrays and treatment, as necessary started.
