Tinea rash: Small, tiny red bumps around the ankles, may be a fungus called tinea pedis. If they are itchy, you need to treat them with topical antifungals or oral medications. Go see your podiatrist or dermatologist. Your hands may be affected by an id reaction. Your doctors will explain that to you.

Infection?: Sometimes when people shave this area, they can get infection around the hair follicles. Herpes simplex can also start out like itchy red bumps. A health provider should examine you and see what this rash is and if there are medicines that can make you feel better.

Possible: People with this skin disease can cause the bumps to spread to different parts of their body. This is called autoinoculation. Such spread can occur by touching or scratching a bump and then touching another part of the body

i have itchy red spots on my scalp and also have flaking skin coming off my head. i use biolage shampoo and conditioner... what do i do?

Depends: Your condition may be seborreic dermatitis or scalp psoriasis. These conditions are at either end of the spectrum and psoriasis is generally more severe w silvery scale and redness. Both conditions do best with rx shampoo like clobetasol to reduce inflammation. If its seb derm, an rx anti fungal shampoo is also good. Otc zinc or selenium shampoo are good but rx are better.

Rash: If the rash developed after you switched detergents it could be allergy. If it was prior then will need a picture to start to evaluate.

Chickenpox: That's just a wild guess. I'm hopeful that you would have already received your chickenpox vaccination which would make this very unlikely. However, it's best for you to go see your family doctor for an evaluation & diagnose along w/appropriate treatment. It would help if you knew whether you were exposed to someone else w/similar symptoms. Or had your vaccination records available.

Can't tell: Diagnosing the reason for a rash is difficult enough even with direct examination. In your case, it is impossible to provide even a guess .  If this concerns you, a dermatology consult would be your best bet.
