Autoimmune disease: Unfortunately, you have a complex situation and something that is tricky to diagnose. It sounds like you have been to several doctors already.  It sounds like you need a dermatologist to see you and do a skin biopsy, immunologist work up or rheumatologist . It could be a rare infection, but more likely autoimmune at this point.

Sounds like urticaria.: Majority of times caused by an allergy but infections can be responsible. Also tend to occur on arms/legs.
Please see your doctor if they don't resolve or symptoms like fever arise.

Could be....!: Sounds like a possible swollen (infected) lymph node.Are you having any fever? I think a visit to your doc in the am would be very appropriate, but the er is appropriate if you can't be seen for several days. These types of infections can get quite severe if not addressed quickly!

Allergic reaction.: I am concerned that you may be experiencing a hypersensitivity reaction to something, or at the very least, you are having some type of infection. Take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) in the short term, but see your physician for an exam and possible labwork in the next day or 2.
