swollen middle finger- 10 days, swollen 2nd toe- 1 day - no injury, elevated sed rate and elevated crp.  all other standard and rheumatoid , gout blood work markers normal.  lyme disease- neg - thoughts?

Osteomyelitis: Two blood cultures and monitor for fever. Start antibiotics after culture. Obtain a MRI.
Infection is one possible cause.

last year i was hiking and was bit multiple times by horseflies. 1 bite swelled very large on my foot and another had a "bullseye" looking rash. i've had many health issues since then that seem lyme disease related. who can i contact to get tested?

Your Family Doctor: You should consult your family doctor. If you don't have one,then go to a clinic. Horse flies bite will not cause Lyme Didease. But you can be checked by physical exam and blood test

does pheriferal neuropathy caused by lyme disease go away by itself after healing lyme?   my left foot  is burning...i can't get no sleep because of it

See a neurologist: This is one situation in which i would urge a 2nd opinion with a neurologist if you have not already seen one.  If the neuropathy is related to lyme disease (and imo that is a large "if") the injury to the nerves heals very slowly. A neurologist would rule out other causes and offer you meds which are often very helpful in minimizing the symptoms.

i am experiencing  tick bite and bruising. the following also describes me: painful swollen joints. what should i do? the bruising is next to the bite but not a surrounding and not the bullseye that is commonly seen with lyme disease

Significant symptoms: Tick bites can cause very serious diseases and should not be ignored. Get an appointment with your family physician and/or an infectious disease physician NOW!!

Tick bite: Pretty sure it was a tick? Although Lyme disease is often associated with Deer ticks, you could actually even have some other form of bacterial infection. Ask your physician if s/he can do a virtual medical evaluation -so that it can be visualized.

Let me help: A small, red bump may appear at the site of the tick bite. This small bump is normal after a tick bite and doesn't indicate lyme disease. However, over the next few days, the redness may expand forming a rash in a bull's-eye pattern, with a red outer ring surrounding a clear area.

Controversial: Most doctors believe that lyme disease can be cured by antibiotics.  There are some who think that lyme can evolve into a chronic state, but this is controversial.  Most treatments advertised for "chronic lyme disease" have little if any evidence to back them up.
