Need more info: This could be systemic infection, a non-infectious inflammatory condition like sarcoidosis, malignancy either  of the lymphatic system or spread of tumor from elsewhere, and there are several remote other possibilities. Go and see a doctor and have this evaluated. Best wishes.

Probably not serious: The large majority of people with this sort of problem have nothing serioius or dangerous. But of course see your doctor if the axillary swelling becomes painful or other swellings appear, or if you develop fever. Or if the symptoms persist more than a week or two or you remain nervous about it.

Seek consultation wi: Enlarged lymph nodes can be caused by many different causes. You should go and see a hematologist who is a blood specialist dealing with such problems. You need to be sure that it is not a lymphoma which is a cancer of the lymph nodes. Do don't panic unless there is a biopsy proof of cancer. Moreover lymphoma is a treatable/curable type of cancer.
