You : You might have cellulitis, an infection.  The fact that you're having chills is concerning me.  If you can't get your doctor on the phone right away, please go to the er asap.

Normal can be ugly: You could have kidney or heart problems but at your age I would suspect that you have the sl. swollen feet ofter seen at rest in women.  Some of us have relish colored feet from pooled blood and the veins will swell as the fill from gravity. Calf muscles are the major source of return blood flow in the less , so use them and balance will be restored, Walk!

Thrombophlebitis symptoms can include pain in the body area where a blood clot has developed in a vein. The vein is tender and warm. There can also be redness and swelling of the part of the body effected. Wasn't exactly sure what you were dealing with, so included info on both.
