how long does it take to detox from suboxone? i was prescribed the film and not sure how many mg i was taking.

Depends : Suboxone contains both Buprenorphine and naloxone. Both have a relatively long half life so would likely take 1-2 weeks before not detectable on drug screen if that is what you are concerned about. Fortunately detox is much less traumatic than with shorter acting opiates.

Dosage OK, check MD: The dosages you mention are within appropriate limits.  Side effect list on any opiate medication will list death as a possibility, don't get too alarmed.  You need to check with your prescribing MD re interactions and tell him/her ALL meds and supplements you are taking.  It is critical that you follow dosage directions EXACTLY with medications of this type.  Good luck!

No: Put it under your tongue. Tell your doctor what you are experiencing. If you are high on other opiates, adding Suboxone may put you into withdrawal.

Follow order: I am hoping that these are prescribed by a doctor that knows you.  If they are, then follow whatever directions you were given.  If not, you need to find a doc that can manage all of your meds, preferably an addictions or pain management specialist.

Suboxone side effect: If you are having these symptoms, you should talk to your doctor about it as soon as you can.  It also looks like you might have recently had a baby. The symptoms you are having may also be attributed to having the baby recently. You should see your doctor for an exam. Don't stop the medication without seeing your doctor first.

Serious interaction: There is a serious drug interaction between suboxone and effexor (venlafaxine) causing something called long QT syndrome. This is a heart conduction problem. It is not a good idea to combine those two medications.

i take 16 mg of  suboxone film every day. i took 5 40 mg of vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) this week. will this show up in my drug suboxone drug test in 2 weeks?

No: Although the excretion of Dextroamphetamine is ph dependent, the medication should generally be gone from your system in 60 hours.
