Probably: 24 hours is not very long post op.  As long as it is intermittent and there is no pus, increasing redness or swelling, I would give it another day or two.  If symptoms persist or worsen over and past the 48-72 post op hour mark, call the hand surgeon.

Please go back to the treating doc and seek their guidance to improve the outcome. It may be too early to expect a return to normal.

If causing pain,: surgery may be the best course. Trial of medications that shut down ovarian hormone production, could be tried, such as lupron, zoladex, danazol, or Orilissa. Talk to your doctor to find best course of action in your case.

No: Fibroadenomas are the most common benign tumors of the breast.  Diagnosis is usually made by sampling a piece of the lump obtained by needle biopsy.  If the lump does not cause pain, is not very large, and is not growing, it is acceptable to watch these.
