Anti-itch cream: Sunburn is caused by sun damage to the skin. The itching is part of the inflammatory response to that damage. You can use aloe-containing products, much as you would for a burn. Also, 1% Hydrocortisone cream may be of benefit. The main thing, though, is to avoid getting burned again in the future. Sunburns can be associated with the development of skin cancer.

back and sides of neck itches.  turns red and feels kind of like a sunburn. for a couple of weeks now. gets worse wearing my scarves and a sweatshirt ?

This sounds like: a contact rash, possibly from your scarves. Is the rash anywhere else? How long does it last? I would recommend having it checked by your doctor. Antihistamines may help temporarily.

my right eyebrow itches. when i scratch it burns like sunburn. haven't worn makeup or contacts in 1 month. don't think it is allergies. possibilities?

Allergic dermatitis: It may be a benign allergic dermatitis (rash) but it could be something else like psoriasis or benign skin growth.  See a dermatologist.

Poss folliculitis: This may be folliculitis (inflammation/infection of the hair follicles.).  It can resolve by itself, and warm compresses/topical antibiotics (like Bacitracin) may be helpful. If severe, it may need to be seen by a physician.

i have a patch on my chest of raised skin with a different texture, about the size of my thumb nail. it's itchy and came about after a bad sunburn. it's been two months and it's still there. it's red, raised, painful and itches what can it be?

Dermatologist: I'm of the opinion that any skin lesion which looks unusual and is different from any other skin lesions on your body or ones that are changing or symptomatic, should be evaluated by a dermatologist for peace of mind.

receiving paclitaxel and herceptin. after 5th cycle, developed 30 small pimples or water bumps on my scalp, which feels like sunburn, though i've not been in the sun, and itches. is this a normal side effect? can i use calamine lotion on them?

Blisters: Medications can trigger tiny blisters in the skin related to virus which has been quiet in your body.  Please call your oncologist to have them looked at.  Meanwhile, calamine lotion may be soothing and unlikely to harm.

Sunburn Itching: Keep sunburn cool w moist cool/cold compresses.  Avoid alcohol containing products.  Break off pieces of aloe vera plant ; apply sap to skin.  Consider non-steroidal anti-inflammatory meds to reduce pain.  Don’t yank off peeling skin or burst blisters.  Benadryl (diphenhydramine) can help with itching.

Photosensitivity.: You may be experiencing photosensitivity to sunlight. Another possibility is that something you are applying to the skin, followed by exposure to sunlight, creates a reaction or rash. See a dermatologist for the treatment. In the interim, avoid sunlight by using protective clothing (contains an spf within clothing) and use spf 30 or higher sunscreen, preferably with a physical blocker.

You burned yourself!: As your skin is healing it is sending in fibroblasts to heal the skin. The nerves in the skin that you damaged send off pain signals. You can treat yourself with appropriate doses of aspirin. And most of all, use a good sunscreen when you go outside during the summer (an SPF of 30 or more is usually fine) every 2 hrs, oil base and even on cloudy days. Clouds don't block UV light.
