Not likely: A sun burn may make the skin on your neck feel tight but should not affect the muscles underneath. If your neck is stiff deeper than just superficial pulling on your skin, then it is related to something other than a general sunburn.

Knot concerning: Someone clinical needs to look at knot and other problem. May be nothing but if you can't get in to see your primary care doctor, i would suggest going to urgent care center to have someone take a look at it.

Don't use that sauna: Maybe where you are sitting in the sauna under a heat source. Anyway your skin is being damaged! That is not the purpose of a sauna. Listen to your body! Stop it!

Redness: With out seeing lesion it could be cellulitis or shingles. Have a doctor look at  rednedd.

Met: Sunburn can increase the risk for skin cancer in some children. I would recommend that you see your PCP for an evaluation. Signs to watch for include bleeding, irregular borders and an increase in size of the lesion.

You really should : See a doctor...It is possible all it is is a strain...But often with "whiplash" there may be residual pain for days or weeks...Aside from ensuring that nothing serious is wrong..It is very important to document any and all injuries, and a doctors report is considered documentation.

Unlikely to be sunbu: Sunburns are usually on the back of the hand and they will hurt.
This is not likely to be a sun burn. If it is getting bigger over a month or two, i would advise you to go see your doctor.
