For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

what does it mean when my blood sugar is either too high 200 or sometimes drops too low 60. my diet isnt bad or crazy. whats wrong with me??

Worrisome: I would wonder if the testing was done properly or if the kid was in the beginning stages of diabetes. I have seen it in toddlers. Please have this retested &amp; discuss this with his doc.

Diabetes: Are you following a good program.  Is weight a problem.  Are you following a diabetic diet carefully?  Do you exercise daily?  If you are overweight you need to lose weight now.  If you need more help then you should ask for consultation with a diabetic specialist.

Talk w/Endocrinology: 60s is generally considered within the normal range for blood sugar. Unclear why are checking sugars if non-diabetic? Need to talk to your Endocrinologist and have glucose tolerance test or other work up to clarify symptom source. For now, frequent small meals / snacks are a good idea.
