Watch/retest: Unless you have a thyroid cancer history, the nodule is suspicious on ultrasound or other factors are in play -- check serum thyroglobulin and thyroid function. Repeat doctor's exam an ultrasound in a year. Generally of very low significance and found in over 50% of the population.

Should also have complete Thyroid labs done.  Need more information about your medical history, meds, and other family history you have.

Not necessarily : Six millimeter nodules are small and may not light up in a pet scan even if malignant.  However, the fact they are stable is encouraging.  I would guess your doc will keep an eye on them unless there's something else that is suspicious for cancer.  Good luck.

Thyroid nodules: Most nodules less than 1 cm are not concerning and can be monitored with periodic ultrasounds. Some features such as calcification may heighten concern. Much more information is necessary in your situation. Is there family history of thyroid cancer, personal history of hyper or hypothyroidism, and radiation exposure? You need to discuss this with an endocrinologist and arrange a treatment plan.

nov. 3: ct-scan showed 1.0 cm left adrenal nodule & a subcentimeter hypodense lesion in the right kidney. dec. 29th: just finding out looking up records. er dr and pcp didnt tell me. should i be concerned? could both spread or get bigger?

Lesions: I believe that both of these small lesions are benign, but I think your physician should sit down with the radiologist who interpreted the scan and get his/her opinion about them and whether any other studies or follow-up examinations would be advisable. I would prefer to see such information on the final report rather than leaving you up in the air, concerned and confused.

"growths" on cords: Vocal nodules are lesions that can affect the true vocal cords.  Nodules usually present as hoarseness or a change in your voice.  They tend to be non-cancerous in nature but cancer is always a concern when ents look at your vocal cords and see "growths.".
