I'm not aware of any: "natural" remedies other than self-stimulation or self-pleasuring for taming one's libido.  IMHO, it's a better alternative to being indiscriminate in your sexual behavior.  You can't get an STD and you can't get a girl pregnant.  Altho it's temporary, the relief provided by self-pleasuring is safe and effective and totally natural.  Dr. Anne

Discuss with your: Prescribing doctor. Everybody's depression and risk of relapsing or having with drawl varies greatly. Your prescribing physician would be the best one to ask about that question. There are simply too many variables involved for an outside opinion regarding this. Best wishes.

just prescribed alfuzosin 10mg for bph i currently have a strong libido no issues with erections my ejaculate volume is normal. i read impaired ejaculation is common in these type meds is it less or more common in alfuzosin?

: Up to 10% of users may encounter erectile dysfunction. It means 1 out of ten may have problem and in medicine it is called a common side effect. Chance of this side effect varies between 1-10%. I think you should take it if you have problem with voiding which we call BPH with bladder outlet syndrome. Please note that this medication does not reduce prostate volume (size).

is there a cure for venous leakage? i am a 29 year old male, who cannot achieve complete erection, even though my libido is strong. also, i lose my erection if there is no constant stimulation. i have taken cialis for a month but has not helped me.

No: There are treatments to manage the erectile dysfunction  due to venous leak: vacuum erecaid device, penile prosthesis or vascular surgery (VIROG procedure)

See a doctor soon: There is no one condition that involves all these things. If you have new onset of vulvar warts see a obg this week, and probably avoid sexual contacts until cleared by md. The internet will only delay getting the answers you need, see a doctor in person.

Libido low: At nineteen, a low libido may indicate anxiety or social issues which diminish libido.  This is unusual at 19, so you should see your healthcare provider to refer you to an endocrinologist and perhaps other therapists.

See a psychiatrist: You first need to see a psychiatrist to rule out causes increased libido. The primary cause of course is bipolar disorder. If you have bipolar disorder that should first be treated. If on the other hand you are just a person with a high libido and it is causing difficulty, then treatment with Paxil (paroxetine) is often used to lower libido . Your psychiatrist could advise you regarding other options as well. Best wishes.

Lower libido: Certain antidepressants, such as ssri's (paxil, prozac, zoloft) are helpful in decreasing sex drive, as are anti androgens such as Depo-Provera provera (medroxyprogesterone).

Assess yourself...: Low libido can be caused by stress such as worrying over job, money, family, friends, relationship etc. Are you in a good relationship? If you're not happy w/your partner, it's not easy to want to have sexual relations w/that person. Excess alcohol &amp; other recreational substances can throw off sex drive, as can some medications. Depression can too. Be sure to chat w/your doc looking for illness
