Possible blood clots: You should consider going to local ER to get evaluation for possible blood clot in your leg. The doctor can do a test called a ddimer or an ultrasound of leg and/or a CT of chest. Being on the pill can increase chance of clots, especially in smokers.

for months, left chest is painful, feel my heartbeats with strong pulse, but not fast, at rest see my body shaking at every heartbeat. ecg, echocardiography, blood, hormones totally normal. small hiatal hernia and gerd found, its linked with heart ?

Left chest pain: A musculoskeletal cause for the pain and among others such as pulmonary or vascular, will have to be ruled out as the small hiatal hernia and Gerd may not explain all your symptoms.

: This has characteristics of either an irritable abdominal wall muscle or mild spasms in the stomach or duodenum. It doesn't appear to be synchronous with your heart beat such as occurs with aortic pulsations. In the absence of digestive problems I'm not sure this warrants an examination by a physician at this time.  See your MD if symptom persists or worsens.

AAA: An abdominal aortic aneurysm would be very rare in a 16 year old. Chances are it's no big deal.  Best way to settle your anxiety is to get checked out. It is very unlikely you will get bad news.

Thin person normal: to see  abdominal pulsations , abdominal aortic aneurysm is uncommon at 16 . Speak to your doctor ,  if needed will do simple sonogram will alleviate your fear .

: It's true that slender people may feel their abdominal aortic pulse as prominent. For peace of mind get your  pulse &amp; blood pressure checked and your abdomen examined by a physician to rule out an aortic aneurysm. If your pulse is rapid get your thyroid levels checked.

Possibly: The abdominal aorta may be easily palpable in a slender person with no abnormality.  Check your BP to see that it is not elevated.  Have your abdomen examined to screen for possible aneurysm.

what part?: You have an artery that runs behind the knee (the popliteal artery) and if you extend your leg and palpate carefully, you can feel it, but if it's easy to feel, you should get an ultrasound test done to rule out an aneurysm.

Carotids: Your carotid arteries traverse the left and right side of your neck and the better you can feel them, the healthier it is, assuming your blood pressure is normal. Aneurysms are very rare. Rapid hb is a separate issue. Rates of up 100 (170  with peak exercise) may be normal.

is it normal to be able to feel a strong pulse in left temple but a much weaker pulse in the right temple?

Accepted Answer

Not likely: No that would not be considered normal. Whether that is significant is another question. Is the stronger pulse temple area tender, or associated with headache? Do you have any other symptoms like dizziness, or visual or movement problems? If so, then do get checked by a clinician. Hope that helps.
