Accepted Answer

No it is not but it : Maybe related to the muscles feeling tight or stiff but it is not harmful toneck or your joints.  If your neck is painful and it persists even without exposing it to a fan at night then see your physician for a diagnosis and recommendations especially to make sure it is not related to swollen glands due to an infection.

Accepted Answer

No: Colds are caused by viruses. A fan blowing won't increase exposure to viruses. 
Many studies have looked at whether getting cold increases odds of catching a cold and for the most part there's little evidence of this; perhaps extreme cold may lower resistance but a fan won't cause that.

Yes-drying: Tears can pass through the closed lids which are not perfectly sealed.  So a fan can dry  the eyes even with the lids closed in sleep.

Health concerns: If you are overly hot or overly cold - it can make it more difficult to sleep. If the fan is making you comfortable - it is not a problem.

Accepted Answer

No: As long as it's on low, the air circulation and white noise helps some people sleep better. It should not dry out the sinuses. But if you sleep with your mouth open, it can dry out the mouth a little faster. By the time air reaches your sinuses, it's been moisturized from the mouth and nose.

my husband cleaned with a very strong  cleaner in a small space. i inhaled it being in same room. went to sleep woke up 2 hrs later my chest hurts bad?

Acute bronchitis: If it's hurting bad then you need a chest x-ray to r/o acute lung injury but acute bronchitis is more likely- you never know what was in that vaccum bag... In some cases, it could be so severe that a burst of steroids might be needed.. Frequently though, it may resolve on its own but I would recommend further investigation.

is sleeping a lot a bad thing when you have taking too many all day strong aleve (naproxen)?

Accepted Answer

No, but....: You should not be taking more than 4 Aleve (naproxen) per day under any circumstances.  If you take four or less, sleep is not a bad thing.  Sedation is not a feature of naproxyn, except for my arthritis patients who sleep better or longer because of pain relief.

had 2 bad acid refluxes in very short period d very strong flavour of liquid contents in mouth made me get up while sleeping both times.felt sick n feverish since.after 1 month blood ph is 7.49.esomprazole reduces acid can it b used in such scenario?

: Most patients don’t know their blood pH so it is interesting that you do (7.49 is slightly above the normal 7.4) . Esomeprazole blocks acid production in the stomach but would not affect blood pH, only stomach pH . It would help your symptoms if they are due to acid reflux though, in addition to: no big meals before bedtime/elevate head of bed/lose weight if needed. See Dr if persists

See in the ear: The ENT docs use specially designed equipment. How about an onset of tinnitus.
Only the ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialists can tell the difference.
They are also called scientifically, otorhinolaryngologists.

i have noticed lately when i am sleeping that i am puffing my cheeks and blowing during exhale. what could be the reason for this?

Accepted Answer

May be sleep apnea: Consider sleep apnea so seek medical attention.  This could represent cheyne-stokes respiration pattern.
