No, gradually: You can again do power lifting but you should gradually build up to it.  Advice from an exercise therapist can be helpful and most gyms have people who can give good advice.  Start slowly, using light weights and over time you can build up.  You are still at a relatively young age and can accomplish a lot.  Just don't go too fast or too hard.

Taking testosterone?: A power-lifting woman taking male hormones (testosterone) is likely looking for an increase in fat-free body mass, in muscle protein synthesis, and in maximal voluntary strength during lifting. She will look leaner, look more muscular, thus more man-like.

Would probably avoid: Although there are no large clinical trials that definitively look at this, theoretically, it makes better sense that you avoid powerlifting because it can increases left sided heart pressures pretty dramatically. Risk for worsening the mvp depends on the cause and your 1-2 year follow up echo results. Low resistance exercises like jogging is better. Hope this helps.

Testosterone: No testosterone is safe to take unless your own testosterone level is low!! 
You should know this from the many athletes who got into trouble.
Please have your doctor check your testosterone level. If OK do not take any more. If low you and your doctor need to find out why and make corrections.

im addict to weightlifting for 28-yrs. only do strength+powerlifting. 6 days ago i did chest workout (very intense always)i woke up next day w/some pain under in my upper left ribs and did my back workout. now severe pain in upper left ribs. help?

Get examined and: chest x-ray. Sound like you might have torn intertcostal muscles causing intercostal neuritis and/or costochondritis.

: The only Dr who can answer this best is the one who did the surgery. they can tell you how many folks like u they have operated using the technique they used on who then do weight lifting like you describe and had to have another operation.

Get tested : I would suggest getting tested for the normal levels your body produces before continuing with what essentially is hormone therapy. Long term exogeneuous testosterone use has been shown to have many side effects.

If only I could...: Get people to understand that powerlifting destroys the skeleton. Young people won't notice problems until years later. So in your case, you will do best with an orthopedist who specializes in sports medicine. See who is good in the area where you live. Nearly every orthopedist has an X-ray machine in the office. Make an appointment right away &amp; find out what is causing the pain and then get Tx.

can powerlifting after ess cause nasal valve collapse? done 3 weeks ago. lifted after 5 days and now having difficulty breathing, dry nose, head pain.

It shouldn't: Since I don't expect the procedure to affect the nasal valves.
