Rest: Strained abdominal muscles heal more quickly when they are rested (repeated exercise can re-traumatize the area).   Over the counter pain medication can also help. Wrapping does not typically help.  With rest, should get better in 1 week or so.

Depends: There is no way to accelerate the healing. Depending on the severity of injury it may take a couple of days to a couple of weeks. 
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Pmr doc for muscles: The obliques are chest wall muscles that assist in breathing. Strain for these can be treated by physical medicine or sports doctors easily. Generally anti inflammatories and possibly muscle relaxants will help initially. Ice pak or massage if very sore will decrease pain. After stabilization, exercises can help prevent further injuries.

Muscle: Strain suggest pulling a muscle beyond its capabilities of extension (pull) while a knot suggest a tired, "bunched up" muscle that is contracted. One fills like a lump.

Not related: Muscle strain does not cause a hernia to form. Muscle strains resolve with local heat, rest and anti-inflammatory medication (ibuprofen). Hernias are a weakness through the abdominal wall, do not heal on their own, and are not related to a strain injury.

Ice and advil (ibuprofen): The best treatment is prevention which would be proper warm up and stretching prior to vigorous excercise.  If a strain occurs ice, rest and advil (ibuprofen).

Pelvic floor damage: The most common cause of pelvic floor damage is a vaginal delivery. Common symptoms include urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and uterine or vaginal prolapse (something hanging out). There are pelvic exercises that can help strengthen pelvic floor muscles and a physical therapist can be helpful.

Bad Back: Unfortunately,  back pain can take a really long time to improve with or without nerve injury however, if your symptoms persists longer than 2 months, you should ask for a referral to see a spine specialist. Take care!

: Could be. A muscle strain should improve in a few days. If it does not improve or gets worse, it would be prudent to see a doctor to exclude organ pathology as the cause.
One possibility is kidney stones. Drink enough water so your urine is mostly colorless.

Prolapse: I am wondering if you hadn't use the bathroom for a number of hours and your bladder was just very full. Compared to the male, the female urethra is much shorter, but has to control a similar bladder volume. The strain you mentioned was just too much and made your bladder overflow.
