: By PDR: Photosensitivity reactions are believed to be due to accumulation of the drug in the skin and are mostly phototoxic in nature, but photoallergic reactions also can occur with select drugs. Reactions can develop from within a few minutes to up to several hours after exposure and will last for 1 to 2 days after discontinuation of the drug.

May be yeast: This is likely to be yeast. An over the counter cream like clotrimazole should be helpful.

It can: Incomplete antibiotic courses are known to cause resistance of bacteria to the antibiotic. Doxycycline is a bacteriostatic antibiotic, meaning that it typically suppresses bacteria more so than killing them would probably be more prone to that than other antibiotics. Also, it depends on the bacterial propensity to develop resistance as some do so more than others.

1 week: The half life of vibramycin (doxycycline) is 18 hours so it would be reasonable to be out of your system in 7 days. Good luck but still wear sun block.

Doxy: Some adolecents take low dose doxycycline for months without problems. Sensitivity to Sun exposure and nausea are occasional side effects which clear on discontinuing the medication. In my experience doxy cycline is very well tolerated.

Atypical reaction: Increased intracranial pressure is not a typical adverse side effect if this drug. Assuming it represents an unusual reaction, you should have been given with antihistamines, steroids, or both to limit the reaction. Reversal should take 24 hours or less if treated, without treatment could take 1-3 days.
