what is the difference between a stomach ache and pms?

When and how much!: Pms usually occurs in the week or so before and ends within 1 - 2 days after a menstrual period starts. the most common physical symptoms include: bloating,  breast tenderness,  clumsiness,  constipation or diarrhea,  food cravings,  headache, diminished tolerance for noises and lights. Other symptoms can include: difficulty concentrating,  feeling sluggish, sad mood,  anxiety, and/or irritable mood.

hello! i have a terrible stomach ache, because i have the pms. i took a pill, but it hadn't any effects. how can i reduce the pain? thank you!

PMS options.: Omega 3 fatty acid & magnesium supplementation can be beneficial for these symptoms. Avoid excessive sugar and low quality carbohydrate intake.  Don’t add extra salt to your food and avoid processed foods containing extra salt. Reduce caffeine and alcohol use. Stay physically active. Non- steroidal anti-inflammatory meds can be very effective. Acupuncture & acupressure are really helpful as well.

normal for thin 6 1/2 year old to get pms symptoms? my six and half year old stepdaughter has been really tired...and complaining of a stomach ache.  her mother took her to the er and they did all blood and urine tests and found nothing wrong.  her mother

I : I would agree with you on this one. It sounds like your step daughter is not about to start her menstrual cycle. Typically a girl will get breast buds about one year prior to starting menses.
Her symptoms are worrisome. Is there a lot of stress/anxiety in her life? Any traumatic events take place recently? Problems in school? These are all questions that need to be answered because often times traumatic or stressful periods in children's lives can manifest as physical symptoms. 
On the other hand she needs a thorough work up by her medical provider. Typically, the er only does testing to rule out acute issues, and will often over look things that are less obvious.
I recommend having her evaluated by her primary care provider right away. Good luck.

i had protected sex 1 week ago and :2 days later had stomach pains & nausea. i still have it. cycle is on 12-15. could i be pregnant? or just pms?

See answer: Best thing is to watch for a missed period and consider pregnancy testing. Stomach pain and nausea can be due to a lot of other things (i.e., viral illness, gastritis, inflamed gallbladder, etc).

Take ibuprofen & see: Ibuprofen is a prostaglandin inhibitor and generally stops cramping. Take 400 to 600 mgs and "see" if the cramping stops. If not, call your gyn md.
