my bilirubin count in the report was 1.4 is that tooo high, if yes what steps do i need to take next and how do i reduce it. is it a matter of concern ? all my other numbers are normal except for his , i recently had stomach pain & taking omneprazle?

: That number is mildly elevated but it is not uncommon. There is a condition called Gilbert syndrome, more often in Caucasian, with high total bilirubin with fasting blood test. If the level was normal before with fasting blood test, you can have it checked again but this time both total bilirubin and direct bilirubin should be done. Stomach problem and Omeprazole do not affect bilirubin level.

3 weeks back lipase was high due to alcohol( 60 ml) and reduced to normal level in 1.5 days. no stomach pain .taking gastric medicines and having stomach pains here and there now. lipase and all other blood tests and us normal. is this pancreatitis?

: As answered previously, your described symptoms are NOT consistent with acute pancreatitis.

Could be ulcer: Epigastric pain which is the tip of your stomach could mean either ulcer or gastritis
stay on liquid or light diet take either Prilosec or zantac (ranitidine) from over the counter with some anti acid make sure your bowels moving ok no constipation 
if your symptoms does not improve your doctor should referred you for upper endoscopy  
it could be your gallbladder as well
your doctor could determined that.

Pain: You may have some discomfort, but you should get checked by a gyn to make sure there is no ectopic pregnancy(pregnancy in a tube).

Accepted Answer

Coat stomach: Gastritis is common with many antibiotics, 
ask your dr. If its ok to eat or have a glass of milk before the particular antibiotic you are taking.  Taking on an empty stomach is difficult for many people.

Go to the ER: Paracetamol is the most common cause of poisoning.  To be on the safe side, go now to an emergency room.  If you have just taken it, they will give you aactivated charcoal to neutralize the medicine in your stomach.  It can cause severe liver disease that will be prevented if they give you a drug called acetylcysteine.

Try : Try a test.  Stop taking your supplement for a week and see how you feel.  Then restart it.
If the supplement is causing you the problem then you should feel well the week you are off of it, and the symptoms will recur when you restart it.

No direct answer: You would not know if the tegretol was or was not the cause of your stomach pain.  See your primary care physician if you are having symptoms of stomach pain whether or not you are on tegretol.

Stop the naproxen: Those symptoms suggest significant GI irritation from the naproxen. Stop it now and contact your doctor to see if further therapy for the GI issues is needed.
