started carafate 1 week ago for bile in stomach &gastritis. doubled up yesterday with r upper abdom pain. is this normal? could this be gallbladder?

Gallbladder?: It could be gallbladder disorder. Contact to your doctor who may order some tests for gallbladder disorder such as ultrasound of the gallbladder.

Go 2 urgent care/ER: Might not be just gastritis, and carafate won't help even if it is acute gastritis, good luck

YES: however it should be noted that sucralfate  REQUIRES SOME ACID to adhere to the affected area(s)

can lipitor (atorvastatin) make you feel tired, shaky, sore like you just went to the gym for 10 hours straight, short of breath and mess with your stomach gastritis?

Possibly: It can cause muscle aches and even something serious called rhabdomyolysis.  You should see your doctor and have some bloodwork done, especially if you notice that your urine is dark. That can be a sign of muscle breakdown.  Stop the Lipitor (atorvastatin) until you see your doc.

Medicines will help: Gastritis is an inflammation of the stomach.  It can be treated with several different medicines, so that by itself isn't so bad.   Blood tests or other tests will further define what's going on. There could be something in your diet that is causing your problem, so that is worth evaluating also

what is the best way to sleep when having gastritis? i tried sleeping on my left side, right side, on my back and on my stomach. is gastritis also permanent?

: Gasatritis is not permanent but sleeping position will not affect gastritis, if that is what you have. If your symptoms have lasted more than 2 weeks, it would be prudent to see a doctor. You may try over the counter antacid, especially at night.

Stomach ulcer: Inflammation is the reaction of your body to any insult, when it happens in the stomach it is called gastritis. There is redness and swelling happens in the mucous membrane.
When there is an ulcer there is break in the mucous membrane like you see an ulcer on the skin.
Irritation may progress to be an ulcer. Both can cause symptoms.
Stomach ulcer has an increased risk to become cancer.

ProtonPump Inhibitor: Dexslansoprazole is a member of the proton pump inhibitor class of medications which effectively reduce stomach acid.
Members of this class of medication with similar effect include omeprazole, lansoprazole, pantoprazole, rabiprexole. esomeprazole, and deslansoprazole.

That sounds fine.: Milk should have no deleterious effect on gastritis nor ulcer.  Citrus drinks, like orange juice, would cause some irritation.
