Most probable not: Your gastrointestinal symptoms should not cause breathing problems. You might have some anxiety on top of your gastrointestinal symptoms. Anxiety can cause breathing problems because when you are anxious you tend to hold your breath.
If you have trouble breathing you should seek treatment for your insomnia and get checked for anxiety.

Cramp of diaphragm: The primary muscle that helps us to breathe is the diaphragm and attaches along the ribs from the chest to the spine and lays over top of  all organs in the abdomen. The diaphragm, like all muscles, can fatigue and cramp with over use or tension.  When you become distressed either due to the pain or tension, this causes you to breathe harder.  This adds more stress on the diaphragm.

Please talk with your doctor right away. Stomach pain and trouble breathing could be acid reflux. But it could also be more serious. Chest pain, shortness of breath, and severe leg pain can be signs of blood clots. Please get help!

Lacrimators:  Both are lacrimators. Pepper spray contains capsicum,(think hot chili peppers).  Tear gas, is usually made with ω-chloroacetophenone(CN) or  o-chlorobenzylidenemalononitrile (CS).  There have different chemical compositions but many of the same symptoms.

Anxiety shows itself: In may ways.  Once can mentally obsess over things that frighten the person or do behaviors to keep danger away, e.g., ritual behaviors, checking and re-checking.  Physically there can be heart palpitations, shortness of breath, sweating, sleeplessness, etc.  Please see your doctor and then go to a mental health professional for support if you think you have an anxiety disorder.

Acid reflux : The balance and noise issues are not related to acid reflux but all the other symptoms are.  See your local ENT and they can check your hearing and sort out all of your problems with the reflux.  Good luck!  feel better!
