May be.: if u have a definite relationship between eating and PVCs, u should consult a cardiologist. Eating requires more blood for stomach and may cause myocardial ischemia causing PVCs, angina, sob and fatigue in significant heart disease. u should r/o cardiomyopathy.

Palpitations: Palpitations have many causes from anxiety through anatomic and physiologic abnormalities. The feeling of bounding usually relates to the volume of blood pumped with each palpitation. There is no simple single answer for the question. If you're bothered by the feeling should consult a dr. To see if the problem can be clarified. It sounds like you've had a good workup and don't need to worry.

May be GI in origin: This sounds like a latent gastrointestinal problem that may trigger PVCs.  Both may also result from anxiety.  Be sure to follow up with your doctor regarding your irregular heart beat and possible further work - up.

my cardiologist has me taking hydrochlorothiazide 25mg+propranolol 20mg x2 for hbp + pvc the side effects are causing stomach irritation as beta blockers cause me but after changing meds due to side effects i need hope + the right-medications advice?

Well....: PVCs are usually benign particularly in young people with no identifiable cause. If they account for more than 20% of your heartbeats over months or years it can lead to weakening of the heart muscle. Yes, being sick can make them more frequent. Stay hydrated. Sport drinks are good.

PVCs and hydration: Sometimes PVCs can come on more when one is dehydrated, febrile or caffeinated.  It sounds like there was a good explanation.  I am assuming you had a Holter and bloodwork in the past regarding this.  Most of the times, an occasional PVC is benign.

took 100mg of natrol brand 5 htp. gave me a little upset stomach nothing crazy. a few hours later it triggered my pvcs, gave me muscle twitches. is that related to the 5 htp? if so, can i cut the tab in half or stop completely? first time taking it

Need more info: Did a doctor prescribe it? If so talk to the doctor. If you are taking it on your own, stop it.
