Your recent flu threw you off balance and you nee to see your specialist to get you back and stable.  Your self diagnosing a flare up is just that. Let the doctor take care your symptoms.

However, these are not the primary or most common symptoms. After treatment if GI symptoms persist consider alternative diagnosis like GERD, PUD &amp; hepatobiliary abnormalities

Doctors can examine: Maybe constipation in one's 20's? Each person with constipation needs to be sure there is no other disease causing it. If constipation is just due to slow movement of the food and poop through the gut, then the things to try are vegetables, water, fiber with water, prune juice, prunes, polyethylene glycol, senna, milk of magnesia, other laxatives... One's doctor can evaluate for anything serious.

You need some tests to sort this out. Have you seen a gastroenterologist?
