armpit stings, allergic reaction or not?

Not always: I am answering the question that i often get about armpit stinging with deodorant, this can be immunoglobulin e mediated allergy or cell mediated allergy (delayed type hypersensitivity, or type IV sensitivity) or merely irritation. A patch test can determine delayed type hypersensitivity, ige allergy is less commonly tested, irritation is diagnosed by the lack of other mechanisms.

i have itchy armpits and i also have some small lumps or spots.which stings so bad onced scratched what can this be?

See below.: Most likely it is hydadenitis suprativa or recurrent sebaceous gland hyperplasia.  Check with a dermatologist to ensure it is not a metastatic lymph node. Treatment for hs or rsgh include biopsy for confirmatory diagnosis.

Armpit rash: Most underarm rashes are caused by some form of skin irritation from the use of a hygiene product. Try and remember the first time the rash started to develop. Did you recently switch to a new deodorant, body spray, shave-gel or laundry detergent?

i woke up with a black scab near my right armpit it seems to be chipping and it stings when i raise my arm?

Bite: You may have been bit by something. The skin and inflammation around area are causing this pulling and stinging. Keep it clean and it should resolve.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you and your symptoms warrant evaluation by a physician. It does not seem to be an urgent matter and you may choose to watch and wait.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine,

i lifted 25lbs for about 7 seconds & hurt my shoulder. inner shoulder/armpit area. stings of pain when i rotate my arm (parellel my body upward back)?

Varies: There are a number of structures in that area that you may have injured including the biceps, pec, or a part of the rotator cuff.  Hopefully will resolve with rest, if not better over 3-5 days consider being seen.

Could be your heart: It could be caused by the inflammation of the sac of your heart following your recent viral infection or from your heart caused by lack of blood supply to the heart muscles. Both conditions are serious and in need for physician attention asap!

inoticed that i had a random dark shaded bruise under my armpit and it stings a little and burns like a wound...any idea what caused it?

Bruise ? trauma: Have you had any trauma? do you paly with your boyfriend? Have you fallen. I am not sure this is important but would be good to know the cause. sometimes a vein will rupture spontaneously. 
Time should resolve this problem.

i have been dealing with a skin condition that has been wreaking havoc in my life. it started with 3 bites under my left armpit that became horribly itchy. it has morphed from tiny itchy stinging bumps to larger pustules. on week 24. nothing helps?

: The most important thing is to stop scratching, you could try warm compress on it and also apply topical steroid like OTC hydrocortizone to relieve some of the itching. I hope what you call pustules are not boils, then just use warm compress and just steroid on the surrounding that may be itchy. Scratching makes the itching worse.

had an abscess drained on 7/20/17 in my armpit. i need to shower. what can i use to wash my arm pit? just soap or will that sting?

Accepted Answer

Mild soap is fine: probably won't even sting.  But if it does, just rinse well with warm water and it will do almost as much good.  Apply a warm compress afterwards if there is any swelling or drainage continuing.
