See a doctor: The reaction at the sting site may appear mild.  If so, keep it clean and bandaged. However, infrequently, a person can have a more serious reaction.  Severe symptoms include widespread numbness, difficulty swallowing, a thick tongue, blurred vision, roving eye movements, seizures, salivation, and difficulty breathing. These are grounds for immediate medical attention.

Base toe pain: Base toe pain can occur due to a nerve impingement.
Nerves can be injured by some type of  trauma,  from an accident, from tight shoes or even an insect bite.
Did you hurt your toe? Do you have lower back pain? Did you twist your ankle? Did you banged your toe against something? You should go see a Podiatrist or a Neurologist to check out your symptoms.

Bunions can cause these types of pains. It depends on how severe the bunion is if you possible irritated it recently. If you notice that certain movements of your big toe make it worse or cause the bee sting sensation, probably it could be the bunion causing some ligament strain in your foot. Hope this helps. Allergic reaction: Symptoms of allergic reaction to a bee sting include swelling at site of sting, hives, swelling of lips, tongue and face, wheeze or difficulty breathing.  Chest pain is not a usual symptom of allergic reaction. Seek out medical attention if chest pain is persisting more than an hour.

Get X-ray : Big toe fractures and 'sprains '( ' turf toe') are fairly common. If your ' stinging' continues see an Orthopedic Surgeon for evaluation.If the fracture extended into the joint ( as in any joint) you may be developing early arthritis . Treatment early can be fairly 'easy' w/ NSAIDs/ turf -toe liners, etc. Get an X-ray and get examined! Best of Luck!
