Chest pain: Try some antacid, like Maalox or rolaids.If that doesn't work you should consult your ER for a xray and EKG

i have a cold and took afrin (oxymetazoline). i got some of it down my throat and it has a numb, stinging feeling to it. is there anyway to get rid of that?

Try eating or drink: If that doesn't help, then you will need to wait the 12 hours for it to wear off.  I don't think the sensation would last the full 12 hours though.

for the last few days i've had a hard to describe feeling in my left ear kinda feels like water but not really. and then when i swallow the left side of my throat hurts and i get somewhat of itchy to stinging feeling in the same ear.  i've tried tyle?

Otitis: You may have otitis externa or otitis media, an infection of your external ear canal or middle ear. Go to your md for a checkup so they can look in your ear with a scope and see what is going on, possibly treat you with a short course of antibiotics if necessary.Good luck.

Weak: Did you recently check TSH? Sometimes uncorrected hypothyroidism cause similar symptoms. What time do you take Eltroxin? It needs empty stomach. May be its better to see a doctor.

Nerve: This may be a pinched or irritable nerve or inflamed muscle. If you can take them,NSAIDS like ibuprofen may help. See your Physician for a careful neck examination  if symptoms worsen or persist.

hi i had a hornet sting me in a lymph node in my neck. the lymph node is still swollen two days later and i have been feeling constantly thirsty.

Give it time: The toxin produced by hornets (Hymenoptera) will cause local inflammation.  The lymph nodes are part of the immune system and I would not be surprised that it would still be enlarged two days after being stung.  The thirst may be a side effect of the sting and local allergic reaction, but if no swallowing problems, breathing difficulty or sensation of throat closing it should pass without concern.

Headache &amp;neuropathy: Can have similar symptoms and often are comorbid diseases. Neurologists or pain management specialists can help to identify and manage these conditions. At this point, you need to be evaluated, imaged and diagnosed.
Then the treatment could be applied.

Sounds like: Inflammation of the throat (pharyngitis).  Usually a viral process and will run its course.  If bacterial antibiotics may help.

Allergy: Get evaluated for food, medication, or other allergy. Other more ominous conditions need to be checked with your pcp.
