i've been getting swollen and sore feet in the morning. what could be causing this and how do i treat it?

Ask your doctor: If it is your joints that are puffy and they feel stiff and painful, it may indicate possible arthritis.  There can be medical reasons for your swelling and/or pain, and if brought to the attention of your doctor properly addressed.

i wake up every morning with stuff sore feet and it goes away quickly i've had x-rays done and nothing showed up abnormal what could it be ?

Sore feet in AM: if its the sole of the foot - and its near the middle to back by the heel - sounds like plantar fasciaitis  and NOT a spur.   if its forefoot pain  -  could be metatarsalgia  -  Probably best to see your doctor or a podiatrist.     You could try OTC shoe inserts  but your best bet is with your doctor

Foot pain: Morning pain in foot is commonly plantar fasciitis.   If you are also having pain in your back this could  be referred to your toe.

See doc to sort out.: Foot pain may be due to neuropathy, plantar fasciitis or even strain or stress fracture from running.  Please see your doctor and/or a podiatrist to sort out what is going on, so you can keep exercising and do it without pain.

Morning pain and: Stiffness is not necessarily inflammatory it could be degenerative. You might have plantar fascitiis.  You would not expect to find changes in radiographs or labs..,,

Inflamed joints: Multiple joint aches, particularly bilateral and involving hands and feet can be suggestive of inflammatory joint disease such as rheumatoid arthritis.  Laboratory studies such as sedimentation rate, rheumatoid factor, ANA may be helpful in distinguishing the difference between osteoarthritis and inflammatory joint disease.  Visit a rheumatologist.

Good shoes: Most of time when people get sore feet, it's usually because they have been standing on their feet all day or they have the improper shoe. Good shoes are worth the investment because you use them everyday. Make sure your shoes are properly cushioned and fit you well. You could have actual foot problems, please consult your doctor or podiatrist would be the best person to answer them.
