I wouldn't: Young kids often sample the world around them and use their sense of taste to explore objects they find. You might look through the house and see what other things the kid has access to, as I have had some come in with bugs from potted plants (some don't digest), buttons, etc. Most small objects that make it into the stomach will pass through ok. Button batteries can be deadly.

IBD: As a 20 yo, my first concern would be inflammatory bowel disease, especially ulcerative colitis.  It's unlikely that this is a malignant condition, but you really need to be seen soon for GI evaluation.  Don't delay, and good luck.

: Constipation is not as common as diarrhea with Covid-19 infection. Your symptom seems opposite with other patients. There is nothing to concern even if the dark/blackish color may imply occult blood in your stool which may happen in Covid-19 infection. Only concern do you have significant abdominal pain. Otherwise, eat light diet for a day or two, your normal bowel habit will return.

my poop has been so sticky for a couple of weeks now (off and on).  takes forever to wipe and all the wiping is causing hemorrhoids!  what to do??

Fiber and water: Eating more fiber and drinking more water will help with your stool consistency. It is best to eat regular foods with natural fiber, but if you can't then a fiber supplement is quick and efficient. Good luck.

Depends: Strings of bright red blood attached to the outside of a hard or bulky stool suggest a scratch/tear in the outlet from a bulky or hard stool. Id it is blobs of blood mixed within the stool it suggests a germ like salmonella/shigella  may be the cause of an infectious process. An exam and testing may be needed to sort that out.
