Let me explain: Stevens–johnson syndrome  and toxic epidermal necrolysis  are two forms of a life-threatening skin condition, in which cell death causes the epidermis to separate from the dermis. The syndrome is thought to be a hypersensitivity complex that affects the skin and the mucous membranes. The main known cause is certain medications, followed by infections and rarely cancers.

SJS: Isn't that common and you would be much sicker. You need to have mucus membrane involvement, like eye / mouth involvement,  and specific lesions to be sure of the diagnosis, which at times, isn't easy to make. See an expert: a dermatologist either directly or through your doctor, best wishes

Erythema Multiforme: It's highly unlikely to be EM or Stevens-Johnson syndrome. Rashes can occur for all sort of reasons - contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, viral exanthums, mites (scabies)…the list goes on. To diagnose the rash, it really needs to be seen -not something that can be done in this format. If it is troubling you, have your doctor take a look at it.

Rash: Steven Johnson syndrome is usually more pronounced with the rash.  One small area would be unusual.   Get it checked out by your pcp.  The medication you are on needs to be titrated when you stop.

Rare: Steven Johnson is a rare disorder. You seem to be obsessed about it.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

i am having a reaction to bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) ds with fever and rash. how do i know if this will turn into steven johnson syndrome?

Stop the med: Stop taking the bactrim, (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) and visit your health care provider for a good evaluation/examination right away if you think you have Stevens Johnsons syndrome (SJS). SJS causes a severe rash often involving mucus membranes like the inside of the eyes, nose, mouth, and genital region.

No: As stated earlier, Steven Johnson is a rare disorder. Rare diagnoses are rarely correct.
