No: Given that it is normal for newborns to sleep 16 - 20 hours per day they often seem like they are sleeping all of the time.  Their sleep is often divided evenly throughout the day and the night. Many infants need stimulus to stay awake even during feeding.

Lose weight fast: Well, the goal should be to lose weight in a healthy way and keep it off permanently. Trying to lose weight rapidly with an extreme "crash" diet is a setup for failure, or the yo-yo effect.  Eat healthy (cut back on carbs and sugar and eat more lean protein and veggies) and do cardiovascular exercise (not walking but running, cycling, swimming, elliptical, zumba, etc).

Dear Woodchuck: Is the pain from your back injury or your headaches a contributing factor. I don't why you are experiencing sleep problems. Try using good sleep hygiene. If that doesn't wor please see your doctor for medical evaluation. Sometimes a consultation with a sleep specialist is needed & a somnogram (sleep study).

Stimulant: A number of energy drinks contain the combination of taurine & guarana. Guarana stimulates through caffeine. Taurine is used by athletes as a performance enhancer.   However some people are allergic to guarana & it has led to arrhythmias in others. Taurine has been associated with hypotension.

I don't see any: The body will turn periodically during sleep and the position taken at sleep entry has little effect on anything. As long as the kid has adequate sleep his growth and development should be fine.I now of no medical problems related to such a sleep position.

Depends: Babies might sleep this long during the day if you let them, flipping the normal day/night pattern. Babies are often comforted by having the drone of day activities & may drift in & out of sleep easier during the day than at night. I would encourage you to cut the day sleep to a 2.5 hr maximum followed by a feeding. This can push the longer sleep time into the night when you try to get your's.

Never sleeps: You child may be teething. She may also have a milk or food allergy which may be causing pain. An exam by a gastroenterologist or allergist may be in order.
