Quality of life: If what you are describing is the case, then you cannot expect a cure, but chemo may give you an extra year or two of reasonably good health. Is there something you want to do? : T3 means the tumor has grown into the outer lining of the bowel wall but has not grown through it. N1b means there are cancer cells in 2 or 3 nearby lymph nodes. Mx means metastases cannot be measured/assessed. Stage could be IIIb but not clear. Best wishes!

Talk to your doctor: Sort to hear of your diagnosis.  Survival time would depend on amount of bleeding and extent of metastatic disease.  Bleeding can almost always be stopped.  A short course of radiation therapy should stop the bleeding with minimal side effects even if you are not a candidate for chemotherapy.

Assume you mean: Colorectal cancer metastatic to liver? A common progression pattern for those that fail.  Most are assymptomatic detected by imaging, but progression can lead to liver failure, jaundice and ascites. Some limited metastasis can be treated surgically, with intra-arteial therapy with chemo or radioactive beads. Liver failure can lead to coma and GI bleeding du to varices as well.
