In advanced cases it will have spread requiring surgery followed by radiation, and possible chemotherapy.

Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.  Drink enough water daily so that your urine is mostly colorless.
Practice safe sex.

Can be: Squamous cell cancer in advanced untreated forms can be life threatening.  It can be locally aggressive by invading critical structures and can also rarely metastasize to distant organs. Some scc like head and neck locations have a high rate of lymph node spread.  Purely skin scc is less dangerous overall than melanoma but still requires timely treatment.
