Insect bite: A spider bite is the most irritating to the skin. The saliva from the spider causes redness, swelling and induration(hard lump) under skin.  oral Benadryl (diphenhydramine) every 4 to 6 hours will help with reaction. Putting in a cool compress over spider bite for 10 minutes every hour while awake will help. Antibiotic ointment.  if redness is getting larger or she has a fever, take  her to ER or appt.Dr's office.

Bite: A picture would be ideal. Bed bugs usually bite multiple times. They are usually very itchy. A spider bite tends to be more painful and sometimes has a blister like lesion in the center. All the best and send along a picture.

Find a better doc.: You are not describing a spider bite.  Venomous spiders are found almost exclusively in the south-western USA. Even there they rarely attack humans. Where do you live? Is it itchy or painful? If it annoys you, see a dermatologist.

Tricky: dermatologic conditions are hard to discuss without seeing them. Spiders do not swarm for multiple bites as much as fleas or other insects taht occur more in groups than spiders or bite more than spiders.

Hard to say?: If it is a spider bite, perhaps you would want to be seen?  Local care of any would usually consists of warm soap and water with gentle washing/scrubbing, then patting dry with a clean cloth or gauze.  Application of a topical antibiotic ointment may be needed and then a loose covering usually with a non-stick (telfa) dressing.  Observe for pus, redness, pain, heat, streaking up from the wound.
