Viral infection: The combination of sore throat and crusty eyes is highly suggestive of a viral infection (pharyngitis plus conjunctivitis) for which there is no known treatment that will cure it. Standard advice is to stay well hydrated (drink plenty of fluids), take Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen for the pain, and apply hot/wet compresses to your eyes. Then just add  a tincture of time.

Sounds like a virus: Sore throat, crusty eyes and cough sound like a virus but not typical symptoms of the flu.  Flu symptoms usually cause high fever, lethargy, body aches in the winter months depending on your location.  If you are having difficulty swallowing due to your sore throat you may want to be seen to check for streptoccal pharyngitis.

Sinusitis?: Sounds like you may have a sinus infection. Regardless sore throat and green mucus for 2 weeks deserves a trip to the doctor.  I suspect you are going to need antibiotics.  Good luck.

Several possibles: You could have just a really nasty viral respiratory tract infection to the starts of a sinus infection to strep throat to influenza (although latter is fairly uncommon this time of year). It also sounds like you have conjunctivitis on top of it (the eye symptoms). If viral, these things will run their course in 5-7 days, and you do supportive care of symptoms. If strep or sinus, need antibiotics.

6 yr old cough for 8 days, coughing so hard vomiting, headache, sore throat, neck hurting, has no fever, very pale, whites of eyes cloudy wont eat  ?

Serious: Cough with vomiting always brings to mind pertussis, although you don't describe a barking cough prior to that.  More serious, however, is the eight days of no eating with cloudy sclera and associated paleness. Get your kid seen today, if not now at the hospital.

Soft Foods: Soft and non spicy foods are easy to swallow. If pain is too much, then dissolve 500 mg tylenol (acetaminophen) in 2 tablespoonfuls  of warm water and gargle with it 1/2 hour before eating.

Conservative care: Force fluids x 8-10 glasses/day: 50% electrolyte rich fluids, 50% clear broth, bullion, consume .Warm water gargles, nasal saline mist, hot tea and honey, 
Hot steam showers, Cold-Eze Lozenges, Tylenol 1-2 TABLETS every 4-6 hours as needed for fever greater than 100. Tea with dark brown honey OK to use Robitussin DM 1-2 tsp. every 4-6 hrs.as needed. OK to use 12 hour nasal spray for 2-3 days.  Zyrtec 10mg 1/day.

Viral infection: Believe it or not, about 98% of all upper respiratory infections in adults are viral in origin.  Therefore with your symptoms, an antibiotic is indicated in about 2% of cases.  In general our 
academy suggests the following: 1.) if you are getting worse after 5 days, an appropriate antibiotic should be given, 2.) if you do not improve at all after 10 days, an antibiotic should be prescribed.

i've had a minor sore throat for the last week or so. now my eyes are gooping up, a white discharge. what's going on?

Possible Pink Eye: Pink eye is usually a viral infection of the conjunctiva.  Often times it can cause an upper respiratory infection as well.  Since there is not a medicine to kill the virus, treatment is supportive - artificial tears, cool compresses.  If the discharge turns yellow, or has a odor to it, that can mean bacterial infection, which requires antibiotic drops.
