my right eye lid sticks to my eye ball for a second when i blink.  why?

Possibly dry: Dry eyes could cause it. Also excess conjunctiva (skin covering the white of the eye).  A good opthalmic exam can help determine a cause.

i blink & get a thin oily film. it blurs my vision badly. it sticks to my contact lens. i have dry eye. drops dont help. whats wrong, how to fix this?

Dry eye : You have dry eyes.  The reason for dry eyes could be multiple factors.  Your medication, birth control, hormonal, hydration, contact lens use and possibly allergy.  You may want to wear daily contact lenses to avoid CL related allergy.  Hydration and you Amy consider omega 3 essential FA.  Use preservative free tears often.  You may need medical treatment if still persist.

Don't!: If you created a corneal abrasion by contact lens abuse do not expose your eyes to tap water.  It contains bacteria and possibly an ameba that can cause severe corneal ulceration and vision loss.  See an eye md immediately!

Could be : Corneal abrasion.  Get it looked at by eye doctor.  Could also be foreign body as well

Blurred vision: There are a multitude of eye causes starting with a refractive error.  Changes in tear secretion and dry, allergy,  ete, etc etc.  Not knowing your age as well as other pertinent information i would advise a  visit with an ophthalmologist to resolve your problem effectively and efficiently.

Eye: Most likely candidate for causing this type of symptoms would be a blepharitis or a chalazion.

Get checked: Occasional blurriness is common, as it could be related to eye moisture levels.  It could also be an indication of infection such as conjunctivitis or "pink eye".  A thorough examination of the eye and history of symptoms can usually be a good first step in treating the underlying cause.

Dry eye: Your cornea is responsible for 2/3 of the focusing ability of your eye.  If its dry, the surface can be irrgeular and cause blurred vision until you blink, re-wet it, making it smooth and better able to focus light.  If this persists, have your eye doctor check it.

i am 20 weeks pregnant & for the past week, sometimes when i blink it feels as if something is cutting my eye. what should i do?

Get it checked: You may have somehow scratched your eye, you may have dry eyes,   you may have a corneal abrasion or ulcer, etc.  Bottom line is that most minor things would generally have worked themselves out by now, so i'd suggest you see your doctor or an eye doctor to get checked out.

Dryness: The usual cause is dryness.  Try artificial tears over the counter, 3 - 4 times daily.  If this does not help, there actually may be something in your eye that is stuck in the cornea or under the upper or lower lids.  An ophthalmologist will determine and treat as necessary.
