my 5 month old has decreased appetite and passes stools 3 times a day (the usual for her is 1). stools are normal, not runny. could it be teething?

Probably not: Teething symptoms are not usually related to appetite or bowel movements. If teething is the issue it may be the texture/feel of the food in the mouth that may keep your child from eating. Try food with different textures, flavors, or temperatures to see if appetite returns. If not then it could be something else and if she/he is not eating enough see the doctor.

ive been having persistent nausea, lightheadedness, decreased appetite, fatigue, and such for months now. i have also had odd stools, sometimes with excess mucus and almost always have odd little round things in them. not tapeworm pieces, but unsure?

: Diagnoses to consider are reflux with or without H pylori, gluten intolerance vs celiac disease, other food intolerances( soy , dairy, eggs) . You can eliminate the food item ( gluten) for 10-14 days from the diet and see if there is a difference. May also be inflammatory bowel disease  or ovarian pathology.  Follow up with  gastroenterology. May need endoscopy/colonoscopy and CT scans,  or MRCP

Need specialists: The symptoms are not specific to a disease but may be from a number of benign or self limiting inflammatory or infections origin so a visit to a gastroenterologists with complete history exam and perhaps tissue evaluation may clarify your disease if it is one of chronic non specific types or more specific type.

i don't hear or feel my stomach/intestines moving anymore? had a round of antibiotics with fluxing constipation and diarrhea, reduced appetite as every time i eat i feel nauseous. little gas. cold feeling. md said not obstruction but not convinced?

: If your symptoms included enough diarrhea to flush your intestines (~22 feet or more of length), it will take time to fill the intestines with enough to poop daily. The normal pattern includes 3-4 days before what you eat passes out the anus.

Hard to tell: The temperature of 38c (100.4 f) is not really concerning, but i would pay attention to how he feels. If he seems to be less energetic, not eating well, or having trouble sleeping, he should be checked by the doctor. At his age, it can be difficult to tell if he is coming down with a virus, or ear infection or some other illness.

Certainly: The appetite is decreased in the majority of women in the first couple of months of pregnancy.  The appetite usually returns to normal by 14 to 16 weeks.
