May be suture: The main suture line for most kids forms a T with the ear to ear line in back of the forehead and the middle one from the soft spot along the center toward the back.Some have a prominent suture line from the front of the soft spot running down between the eyes. A ridge in the forehead like a boat keel can be a transient feature in some kids.Confirm this with your doc.They usually grow out of it.

MD evaluation: This may represent a benign growth but a malignancy must be considered.  Unfortunately, even benign spots can enlarge over time and become more difficult to treat.  Furthermore, the mainstay of cancer cure is early detection and early treatment.  I would strongly recommend having a physician evaluate the area and consider biopsy if indicated.

A different cyst :-): And now to answer your corrected question- this could be an inclusion cyst, epithelial cyst, or wen.  All are similar names for a cyst which is made when the glands that secrete oil into the skin coalese in to a balloon- they squirt a thick waxy white substance called cebum into the balloon which feels hard when pushed together. This can be easily removed surgically in office to prevent recurrence.

Exam needed: If it weren't for the bump I would diagnose neuralgia which is an irritation/inflammation of a superficial nerve in your forehead which is a nuisance rather than anything serious and usually resolves without any specific treatment. However in view of the lump present, it's best to have your physician examine you to be sure.

Dermatitis: you need to see a dermatologist as you have probably tried all the over-the-counter medications he would be able to give you a definitive diagnosis

Clogged oil glands: You could have clogged oil glands on your forehead.  These cannot be 'squeezed' out.  You could also have acne lesions.
